My main reason for purchasing this game will be to play it over a 4 player
LAN with my friends.

However, I have read from various sources (mainly forums) that the game is
next to impossible to get working well with any more than 2 players.

Is this true? What are peoples experiences of the multiplayer aspect so far?

9. RM is having trouble attacking the message, so is trying to distract by attacking the messenger.
