F1 2002: A deterioration...

In F1 2001 was a realistic noise of wind ,
in F1 2002 there is not.

Every motobike driver know that when you drive
faster than 100 kms you can not hear anything else
than wind (nearly..)

I can't understand that, anyone else ?

I did notice that the sound stays exactly the same when you switch from
***pit view to TV-cockpit view. If I remember correctly, F1 2001 had a cool
TV***pit sound. I'm not completely sure, I'd have to check.

If you look in the f1sounds.sfx in the vehicles-folder, you will notice they
have rem'ed out
the lines of dry and wet roadnoise. Aswell as the samples in the sounds/car
folder are empty.
I guess copy over the old sounds from F1 2001 into F1 2002 and just remove
teh // before the lines will get the sound back.

Overall, teh sound in F1 2002 is much worse then in F1 2001 imo.
Its some strange flanger & lowpasfillter on the sounds from F1 2001. :(

I just looked at that f12001.sfx, and you're right. I don't get why they've
done that, 'remming' out the sounds? If they've chosen not to use them, just
remove them altogether.

Anyway, thanks for clearing that up.
