Hi,

Anyone know how to get a 153 or 154mph lap on the qualifying lap?  the
AI cars are getting 154's on there qualifying laps at 100% strength
and I am lucky to get 149.5.  Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Cibb

I can get 152's a lot of the time in the race btw, I just hate being
last on the grid all the time.

go to c:\papyrus\tracks\dover
There you will find a file called DOVER.TXT
Pull it up in your text editor.
Raise the number in the BLAP parameter.  that's average qualifying times for
AI in seconds without a decimal point.
You can set that to where you qualify midfield, then, when you start turning
better Q laps, you can always come back and lower the BLAP number again.
I go so far as to set Opponent Strength at 100% in the sim and use RELS
(Relative Speed) to tweak the AI speeds individually for each track.  That
reminds me!  I need to turn Atlanta up one click!

Enjoy

In N2 my qual speeds were in the high 153's.
In N3 my best lap (race) so far is a 155.5 with ACE
