>> Really great piece of (virtual) filmmaking!  Kudos for the lads involved!

Wow! Took me 1h 39min to download, but it was more than worth it... When I
played it first at 16bpp, there were some glitches, but switching to 32bpp
solved that. After watching it three times, now I've just recorded it to VHS
to take it and show it to some friends this weekend (together with last sunday's
race), I hope you don't mind...

(BTW, about download time, in that page I also noted a comment from someone in
Portugal to whom it took a similar time and using cable too... I guess he must
be using the same crappy ISP I have over here...)

> Well I'm learning Adobe Premiere <

If you cut that in Premiere I am doubly impressed!
Premiere is not very friendly compared to the
b'cast level edit toys.

Only just got round to seeing this movie and at risk of being tedious and
repeating what everyone else has said already... absolutely *brilliant* work
Kev! Very well composed and edited, must have taken a lot of hard work to
get the timings right with the lyrics :o)

I don't have much time for driving these days, but I can DL movies while I
sleep, and dream a little while I watch them. Thanks for reminding me why
GPL's such an inspiration.

Actually I'm in the process of introducing a guy at work to GPL. In his
youth he raced seriously and has driven competetively at the 'Ring amongst
other places. Worked with him for several years before I found this out!
Anyway, his driving days are long gone but I've bunged some movies on the
GPL disk I'm making for him to try and spread the ***ion a little
further. Hopefully your video and the works of others will inspire him as
well!

"Andrew MacPherson"
Way to Go Andrew.  You realize tho that your friend now stands a very real
chance of financial ruin and the ending of his marriage.

the 'Ring."

I think he's *far* too sensible for that. Besides, he has relatively little
free time and a young son, which will both act as a natural brake on his
racing aspirations. So his marriage is safe, I'm sure :o)

Um.... as with so many add ons for GPL it's not always easy to remember :)

Al Heeley has a nurby sky here
http://www.bengpl.racesim.net/gplskies.html
but I don't think it's that one.

Ah! Found it.

It's only running at 800x600 for the avi grabs. As a result everything
is switched on and running at max detail.
Runs ok at 1024x768 with the detail slider half way though.
