Could I get you to do a film of highlights of the GPLF3R Legues races
for this last season, when it is finished? I have all but one of the
server replays. I think this would be a great way to remember the
season. I was thinking I would give it a try myself, but then I saw
your work and well . . .

Hmm...I don't think I *have* that track. I'll have to look for it<g>

I like it already but I can't watch it!!! My machine says I can't
download a decompressor without loading Internet Explorer,
which I don't have or want! Is there any way to use Netscape to
download a decompressor?

Another post to keep it at the top of the list ;).

Incredible - absolutely incredible.  Don't even bother with the
smaller version - this movie *demands* to be seen in the highest
quality possible!

Fantastic work Kevin!  I recognize most of the car updates, except for
that really nice Cooper.  Is that a released car, or another teaser
for upcoming GPLEA work ;).

Again - bravo!

I'd like to see someone top this - although I had an idea for a remake
of the action shots in "Grand Prix" using GPL ;).

Adobe Premiere.

:O

Well I'm learning Adobe Premiere as I go along so masks, mattes and
keyframes are a bit above me at the moment. :)

Well I wasn't planning on doing another one soon.
That one took 3 months to make on and off and I just happened to have a
fair few replays that fitted the music. Only 3 short bits were from
other people.

I think you would be better off doing it yourself because you know the
characters in your league, you know where all the incidents are and you
can give your own view and interpretation of how it went.

Just a tip, get the GPL CCM camera manager. Dead easy to use and doesn't
limit you to track and car cam angles. And above all, use your imagination.

I have no idea what compression I used. It's just a wmv (windows media
file). You might need a divx thingy. Try www.divx.com.

Not a GPLEA car. It's a skin from someone. Berca maybe. It's all in the
GPLCSM car manager cooper pack.

You should watch Sam Dobie's movies. They're ace! And Durbster is making
excellent progress in making movies look more realistic. He's fiddling
with wobbly cameras, focus and stuff like that for a more lifelike feel.

Durbsters latest epic is on the way up at RaceSimCentral.... actually it IS
already uploaded, just not linked to yet. (lazy me)
Go pick it up at
http://www.racesimcentral.com/downloads/mirror/britleague.avi

All the other movies we used to have are in a moving phase.... expect them
to be all comfy on their new server sometime soon, I'll post once they are
up again after all that music copyright trouble.
