Hey Racers,

I was having trouble running CMR2 on my PIII 450mhz system with a Voodoo 3
3000 AGP Video card and I posted a question on one of the newsgroups about
the problems

I received a 3dfx Voodoo 3000 driver from a fellow newsgroup member. The
Driver is 4.11.01.1204 and according to my 3dfx "Tools" program it was
released 8/27/99 !!! .My previous 3dfx driver was 1.07 released 11/30/2000

This 1999 driver allows me to play CMR2 but some of my other Sims such as
Nascar Heat (i.e. NH) bring up screens that say

"Your Video Drivers appear to be out of date. NH may not function properly.
Do you wish to Continue??  Yes (No)"

Why did the developers for CMR2 require such old drivers ??????

This is why I didn't buy CMR2. I'm not going back to an old version of a
video driver to run one game when the new driver works fine on every other
game I've tried.

I haven't seen any indication that a patch for this is forthcoming either.
