Looks great, but unless I misunderstood the installation procedure it
looks like you have to change the config.ini file so that it only sees
the GT cars.  Did I miss something?  I still want the F1 cars to work
also.

Install the game in two different locations? Modify one - dont modify the
other?

When it works, it's pretty damn good. Cars look and feel excellent.

In quick race, all the AI cars were the same driver, and didn't show up on
the grid until the race began. In grand prix mode, everything worked fine
for awhile, then all of a sudden the game wouldn't recognize my wheel no
matter what I did. Crashed to desktop too.

If you install it exactly the way they say, all you have to do is a quick
config.ini change before starting the game to race either one.

OK that's not bad, in fact it would probably be pretty easy to set up a
couple of .bat files to do it, and then shortcuts to the .bat files.
Don't really have time tonight, but I definitely want to try it.  SCGT
with improved physics and graphics!

FIA GT2001 Mod for F12001 Released

Same here with the drivers in Quick Race mode, all of the cars were a
Lister.

I had no luck at all in Championship Mode, it crashed to the desktop when I
tried to start the first race.

Also, one of the vehicle zip files seems to be corrupted : GPLK.zip has a
CRC error if I try to extract
any of the files.

The cars look great on the Menu Screen and I'd really like to race against a
variety of cars, even if
it's just in quick race mode.  Any help getting the rest of the cars to
appear would be appreciated.

After checking the HG forum, choosing one of the Porsches (which I did) will
make the game crash. It's a known bug, along with the all the cars being the
same in quick race mode.

Yep, the AI cars all being the same is a known bug apparently.

If you want to drive in championship mode, you have to follow some specific
editing instructions which are in the read me. Try grand prix mode and you
should see all the cars and be able to race.

If you haven't heard yet, set the grid order to random and you will be able
to race in quick race mode. The porsches have been fixed. You'll have to
re-download them at http://www.madfactory.racesim.net/f1/ .
