Install the game in two different locations? Modify one - dont modify the
other?

In quick race, all the AI cars were the same driver, and didn't show up on
the grid until the race began. In grand prix mode, everything worked fine
for awhile, then all of a sudden the game wouldn't recognize my wheel no
matter what I did. Crashed to desktop too.

I had no luck at all in Championship Mode, it crashed to the desktop when I
tried to start the first race.
Also, one of the vehicle zip files seems to be corrupted : GPLK.zip has a
CRC error if I try to extract
any of the files.
The cars look great on the Menu Screen and I'd really like to race against a
variety of cars, even if
it's just in quick race mode. Any help getting the rest of the cars to
appear would be appreciated.

If you want to drive in championship mode, you have to follow some specific
editing instructions which are in the read me. Try grand prix mode and you
should see all the cars and be able to race.
