I don't think it's that simple. The way I understand it, the bug that was
fixed in the Hawaii code (MULTI) caused the weight to move around on the
car. In NASCAR, this caused your setups to start out loose and then
gradually tighten up over time. People took different approaches to fixing
this problem, some added tons of stagger and wedge, others just suffered
through the loose condition and waited for the car to come in. I think it
would be difficult to write a program to "convert" setups because of all
the different "fixes" that people attempted.
It's really not that difficult to tweak your setups for MULTI. Generally,
your setups are going to be too tight, so start by taking all the wedge
out. If that doesn't loosen the car up enough, move a little weight towards
the rear.
I don't know if it's just experience or the bug fix, but I'm much better at
dialing in setups for MULTI than I ever was for NASCAR. I know with MULTI
that once I get the tires heated up, the car is going to behave pretty much
the same way until the tires start to go away. I never felt that way about
NASCAR.
