I would LOVE to see the GPL physics engine turned into an INDY LEGENDS sim.
1967 season, rear engine just coming in, front engine roadster just going out.
We could even have 4 decades of racing!  60's. 70's, 80's and 90's!  Could you
imagine how cool that would be!  Please Papy!! PLEASE!!!

Unfortunately .. dream on  :-(

I predict we will never see a sim like GPL ever again..  At least never
produced by a mainstream software house like Papy..  What we will see is
developments of different sims to incorportate things like this.

Watch out for WSC...   This is going to be huge..!

A rash statement, young James. very rash.

Along the lines of the agent who said "The 'Beatles'? Naaah! I can't imagine
a group with a name like that ever being popular".  Or the computer "guru"
in the 1960's who reckoned that 640Kb of memory was all that would ever be
needed.  Now I wonder who  _THAT_  was??!

Maybe whoever said that knows something we don't....

I often wonder if these extremely large storage devices developers have
today, have encouraged laziness.

I have no real programming experience, and am really just basing that
statement on what we saw in the past.  Some great little games that fit
on a floppy or 2.  Is it just all the graphics these days that eat up
the space?
