When I press F11 in SCGT I get support for the RS Shifter, but only 4 speeds
on my 6 speed ***. Is this normal?

Okay, I've got all gears, but 6th and reverse are backwards. Is this normal?

If I recall correctly, the 5th and 6th gears are reversed in the coding in
SCGT. Nothing you can do about it. So you have to go to 6th for 5th and
5th for 6th.

HUH? have you upgraded your transmission in the purchase parts
section? just curious.

Ya Dave, all the parts available. I personally think that SCGT models the
GTQ (fully tricked out) as a GT3 very well. I think its the most accurate
model in the game, but the GT1s are pretty good too, except for their top
speed. So I hop in a GTQ, pretend its a GT3, and drive away in bliss ;)

OK. I knew it there were two gears modeled wrong as I emailed ACT-LABS and
they confirmed it was programmed in wrong. I just couldn't remember the gears
exactly since I haven't touched SCGT in ages.

There are two gears coded in backwards. I may have the gears wrong but I know
there are two gears modeled into the code backwards. A-L confirmed this.

Thanks Scott. I hope they fix it. Actually, its not that bad as it lets you
push the lever all the way over for 6th gear, and reverse is hardly ever
used. Still, I guess it would be nice to have it right.

Try the shifter patch from the act labs site..it's on the shifter support
page..
