I emailed Image Space about the shift pattern problem in  SCGT. Here's their
response:

Greetings,
I will fix it for you.  Its just we are up to our eyeballs in F1 2000
right now.  I just need a little time, promise.

  That is really good to hear.  From my viewpoint, the scgt team had
all been hijacked by EA and not allow to see their child grow up.  It's
good to know they will at least attempt to keep the users happy.
