N2 and 3dfx

I am having some problems with the graphics in Nascar 2.

I just upgraded from a rendition card to twin 3dfx 12 mb Monster II's with a
16 mb Velocity 4400 as a primary card.  I installed the N2 3dfx patch and
noticed at some tracks the writing on the wall is all scrambled.  It looks
like spray paint!.   I am fairly new the world of 3dfx, and was wondering if
anyone out there had any links, or patches, or suggestions on  the fix for
this, (that is,  if there is one.)

PII 350
128 edo ram
asus bx mb

all the latest drivers and patches are applied.

thanks ahead of time...

Here is your best bet.

Go by NASCAR1999 that was just released.  It has native 3dfx support thru
win95/98.  Works AWESOME for me and I just srapped my Thriller 8mb Rendition
card for the CL Voodoo2 card.

Pay the $40+ for the game but there is a rebate where you send them the receipt
and the cd of another company's sports games and Sierra refunds you the cost of
N99.  I sent them an old EA NBA Live '96 disc.  This way the game is for free
and you get excellent 3dfx support... no patch.

I'm running Nascar99 with a new Diamond Monster w/12 megs and am having
lock up problems.  Same with Janes WWII fighters and NBA Live 99.
They're all locking up.

I've tried all the patches and drivers I can find to no avail.

What am I doing wrong?
