I can not for the life of me get my modem to connect with any game
(nascar, Indycar II, or heaven help me DOOM ) I must have been a sinner in
a past life. Anyone help. Thanks in advance.

As a rule you need to turn off compression and error correction.  If my
grey cells are working right, you need &Q0 and %C0 in your init string, but
it's been a while since I had a USR.

This goes for both ICR2 and DOOM.
