ICR2 menu fluttering-PLEASE HELP!

by rcrai » Thu, 31 Dec 1998 04:00:00

I recently installed ICR2  (regular version) on a friend's PC.  The menu
choices keep flashing so fast that you cannot select an option.  If you
are lucky enough to get the screen to select a choice it seems to work
OK.  The wheel is a Grand Prix 1 with some pedals added on.  Any help
would be great.

It appears that your joystick (wheel) is out of calibration.  Press the
"J"
key which will turn off your joystick.  Now you can re-calibrate
your joystick (wheel) or make other selections.

The controller needs to be calibrated...Use Ctrl+J to go to the calibration
screen if not automatic at startup.

I'm not sure exactly what I did, but it was one
of these two things:

- Hit Ctrl+J to turn off the joystick, then recalibrate(?)
- Unplug your mouse, then choose your control method(?)

I think one of those two things will work but it's been
awhile since I had that problem...

- Mike.
