Help needed with SCGT SP3

I have dloaded all 45 files with IE5 and put them in one folder. I've followed the 1st instructions to the "T" (I Think) but haven't been able to get past the zip file ( the zip file is all that comes out of the exe. file) when I click on  the exe. I've spent two days on and off trying to get that thing to load but keep getting the same results. Can anyone out there help me with this problem. I have dloaded many patches/updates and never had any problem before. I know allot of you guys out there can figure out anything so please help me out if you can. I think SCGT is a great sim and would like to keep it updated.

Thanks in advance, Dan

Netscape seems to be the problem.  Get a dload manager like Gozilla or
Getright.  Either will dload the various files automatically for you.
then unzipp the various files into a different folder,  that should
create the ONE HUGE zip file.  you should be able to then run the big
file.  Have fun, good luck.  If you get it running you'll still need
some extra sound files for all those cars.  at gtinsider, dload an
update called...
update1.2.  Inside that are a bunch of wav files.  ignore the other
files.  Just unzip the wav files into your 22hz sound folder.
