When installing daytona, when I try to race there I get a message saying
unable to load complete track description.  Any ideas?

You need to install (unzip) Daytona into Nascar2, not Nascar1999.  Then it will
work.  Then copy the Daytona track folder into Nascar1999 and update your
calendar.  Then everything should work in N1999.

I had the same problem...The fix was to make sure that the folder and file
names for Daytona match.  My version was originally DAYTON, but I was
changing the folder and .DAT file names to Daytona (also changing the
reference in the .CAL file as well).  Apparently this conflicted with an
internal name inside the .DAT file.  So I renamed the Daytona folder,
Daytona.DAT, and Daytona.TXT files back to Dayton, changed the folder
reference to Daytona in the .CAL file.  You can change the screen names in
the calendar and .TXT files to Daytona in Daytona FL.  These instructions
may be a bit vague, but maybe it'll point you in the right direction.
