My understanding is that NL automatically removes the pit road speed
limit - regardless of whether it's an NL native track.  Also, to remove the
restrictor plates, remove the first 1 in the .cal file you're using.  It's a
text file (editable with notepad) that has several columns.  The first
column is the race number, the 2nd column is the MONTH of the race, the 3rd
column is the DAY of the race, the 4th column is whether there's restrictor
plates (1) or not (0), the 5th column is whether it's a night race (1) or
not (0), The 6th Column is the Directory name where the files are, the next
two columns are the same name (event name, use the underscore character "_"
in place of any spaces) TWICE, the 9th column is the number of laps for a
100% race, the next is the event's logo (as a .tga file), the last column is
the picture of the track (I'm pretty sure) that you see in the upper left
corner.
    You entry may say
15  7 12 0 0 DAYTONA Daytona_500 Daytona_500 200 trkinfo.tga trkshot.tga
IF you want restrictor plates (not realistic in NL, but of course it IS
in N3), just change the first 0 to a 1.
