USB or Game port?

I have the Andretti Racing Wheel by Mad Catz and it has two connectors on
it.   Either USB or Gameport type.  Which one is better.  Does the USB slow
down the computer?  Also can I leave my flight sim gear installed on the
Gameport if my wheel is on the USB?

I now run all my controllers through the USB after trying many different game
ports. Really depends on the motherboard. I have a Intel XEON motherboard with
the GX chipset. I think some BX motherboards are not quite so good with the
USB.

working out for you?

I am very happy with it.  I liked the design of the pedals and the wheel and
PC Gamer gave it Editors Choice award.  To my suprise I am having fun with
driving sims and am having no problem putting the car where I want it. The
parts are heavy duty and the set up was easy.  Look at earlier post Subject:
Racing wheel from MiniMike, for two people for the Andretti wheel and one
against.
