USB vs MX300 Game port

I just recently upgraded to Win98, and have a USB port available.  My
question is would I see better performance running my Logitech Wingman
Formula in the USB over the MX300's game port?

This is a totally un-tapped ellement that sim racers don't pay enough
attention to.

USB is much faster than a gameport, but the MX300 is probably the best
gameport you can get.

I'd go USB...

I have an MX-300, and I also have a Logitech Wingman Fomula Force.  What you
mentioned, I'm not sure you can even hook it up to your game port on the
sound card.  The wheel I have, can only be hooked up to either the USB port
or a Serial port, I don't have the option of using the sound cards game
port.  Unless they changed the hook up configuration, maybe you need to make
sure this is in fact an option for you!
