Joystick deadzone

Hi,
Before I lost the data on  my hard drives I had a utility that reduced the
deadzone on M.soft joystick dll. Believe the default is  5% this reduced it
to 0% and I found that car control was much improved.
Have lost the file and/or the address from whence it came, can anyone help
me find a replacement,
Thanks
Terry.
