rec.autos.simulators

I have the latest, I think, demo of CMR downloaded from their site and the
graphics, cars, trees, etc are transparent. Is this normal for the demo or
is something set up wrong on my system. All other games look OK. I have a CL
12mb Voodoo2 and StarFighter AGP i740 for video cards. Both have the latest
drivers. The game looks the same on either card. Other than the weird
graphics the game is a blast to drive. Where can it be bought here in the
US?

 Don't worry. I had the same problems. People kept telling me it was
DX6. In fact, it seems that if nothing else can be attributed then
blame DX6 no matter what.

The problem is the graphics selcection in the game settings. I have a
Matrox G100 and Voodoo II and, obviously selected this in the
settings. Transparent trees and cars alike!

Select the default driver for the first and your VII for the second
and you will find your problem solved!

Hi,
I have exactly the same problem.
 I have purchased the original CD and installed it on a PII-233, 64MB, VOODO
RUSH with 4MB, WIN98 or 95 with Directx 5.0 or 6.0 (all possible
combinations).
It didn't start at all, so I installed the patch from www.codemasters.com.
After that I can run the game but I have the problem of transparent graphics
(see-through sceene). I have sent many E-Mails to codemasters but nothing
yet.
If you find anything please reply.
