Just a question for someone involved with Nascar3. Are you going to have all
the licenses? Nascar 1999 (I call it Nascar 2.5) didn't have half the stuff
N2 had and N2 didn't have Daytona. I hope when N3 hits the shelves it has
all the tracks, all the cars, all the drivers, and all the car
paintschemes(including the Ford, Chevy and Pontiac emblems on the front). It
saves all us players the time of patching up the game.

Vintook.

Can't wait to see the flames on this one!!!! Heheheh.

They'd better have DAYTONA this time around.

I seriously doubt it, Sega has the rights to use Daytona until sometime in 2000
I think.

I think that Sega's license is up in April....  Not positive though...

No Daytona. Sega's got the rights for it right now. What I'm looking for though,
is the Brickyard. Please N3 have the Brickyard!! Also no car manufacturners. Ford
and GM have requested that anyone using there logos and names for anything pay
some sort of fee. Ah, gotta love those profit hungry gluttons. <G>

I wouldn't be surprised if they were to try to renew the license (If that's
possible). I was at Sega's page one night (Can't remember when, was at Heat.net
and found a link to info on the new Dreamcast) and saw that they have plans to
release a Daytona USA 2 for their new 128 bit Dreamcast system. Completely off
subject (Non racing sim related) opinion on the Dreamcast, it looks really cool.
Has a modem hookup for internet gameplay or modem-to-modem gameplay. I, not too
long before the release of the original Nintendo, still have an affection for
console machines, as their were my first ultimate *** machine. <G> Ah,
yes..those were the days, sitting around either playing Mario Bros. on Nintendo
or Summer Games II on Commodore 64. Hehe.
