I will be very interested in how it works for auto sports.
There is a free demo with some fictious drivers. It looks very good.
I'm impressed. When they showed the Olympics, they tried putting two
bobsleds onscreen at once. That is something WRC needs to get...Us
Americans like to know who's ahead...

The more I watch rallying (now that I'm able to), the more and more I think
that THESE GUYS are the best drivers in the world.
Hell, cutting it close on a track is one thing, cutting it close on a 100
meter drop is something COMPLETELY different.

I'm sorry to say that as of this writing, 23:10 CST on Friday night 3/22
(that would be 5:10am GMT, Sat AM the 23rd of March) I still haven't been
able to view the VS data for day one of the Catallunya Rally.
I received a message when logging on that they are having problems getting
and processing the GPS data. Also, they have a FAQ that states that for now
you'll only see the road, on a black background, not the rocks, trees,
mountains that have been shown on the TV broadcasts.
They say that as time goes on and they get the bugs worked out this will
change but frankly I'm a bit disappointed so far.
I was expecting real time, or near real time data, rather than having to
wait 12+ hours to see the side by side comparisons of drivers.
Hell I could have gotten that much online at www.wrc.com or simply via
watching the programming.
We'll see how good it is once the data becomes available, but at this point
I'm a bit discouraged and probably wouldn't order it for the next rally.
