Does it run Gran Tourismo 2? If yes will it work ok on my system----PII350 ,
128 meg, V2 SLI, MSFF wheel,19" Viewsonic Monitor? What other racing games
would work for me? Or should I just bite the bullet and buy a Playstation? I
hear there is a playstation 2 coming out soon should I just wait for that
instead? Thanks all.

But..  it is a totally awesome game!!!    and if you don't think it is a
simulation.. think again...

watch some of the replays that come with it..   wow..  what a Lotus Elise
190 and it is great!!

Can't help you with the first part, though I had read that it doesn't.
I was able to get GT1 to work on a later Bleem demo, but wasn't
impressed with the performance there (the demo doesn't allow
acceleration or sound, so not fair to really criticize).

As to the game, I love it.  If you want a sim/game with almost every
contemporary car you dream of driving (save Ferraris, the latest
Porsches, and BMW M-cars), then consider dropping the $99 for a PSX. I
admit to buying a PSX for GT1 only.  Then again, the PSX2 will be out in
the US in the fall, at more like $300.

The solo driving in GT2 is great.  The racing is far less impressive due
to:
6 cars only
Bumper car AI
AI speed adjusts to your position (not in Endurance races, perhaps)
(very) occasional slowdowns
