Read this in an article on the race.

'The dark horse of the 37-car field will be Briton Martin Short's sleek
Mosler MT900R, a waist-high coupe built in Florida and powered by a
5.7-litre Chevrolet Corvette engine, and weighing only 1020 kilograms.

Short, who will share the car with fellow Britons Mark Pashley and Charles
Lamb, and Sri Lankan ace Dilantha Malagamuwa, said he had "driven" Bathurst
on a computer game. "I got on a Playstation and did one lap and almost
decided not to go to Australia ...," he explained.'

What game would that be?

That'll be WTC World Touring Car Championship, or something like that. Think
of it as TOCA 2.5 - it was ps1 only iirc.
