  I just discovered this group, and it is the best.
But I only have a laptop to play games on so :-(
What do you ppl think of f1 racing championship?
the demo worked well on my pc so i thought i might get some expert opinion
on the game.
It cant be as good as F1 2001 from what u guys are writing, but what is it
like?

Graphics are excellent as are the framerates. Stock sound is akin to a cat
pissing in a can. The physics are OK but feel like a well-worked central
rotation engine. It gives you the impression that you are disconnected from
the road, almost hovering over it. It suffers from some snap oversteer
issues that can be resolved through setup if you work hard at it. The main
issue is with the AI whose implementation is deplorable and the promised
patch never arrived to resolve the problem.
All in all IMO it's OK but if you are going to buy a modern F1 sim, F1-2001
is head and shoulders above F1RC
