Pfff .. yeah .. c'mon guys ... pony up another $360 ... we know just bought
one 18 months ago but it's time again. And get the new processor and you'll
need the DDR ram now to keep up and the NorthBridge/SouthBridge Bridge Over
Troubled Waters Floating Point K2Dee sin tah gray Tor and.. make sure that
image stays at 21" MAX. And you're sitting in an incredibly comfortable
chair.
I gave it up.
I saw some game running on an X-Box and said "This is ***ing stupid. For
ten years I've been plowing $2000 in to my machine every 18 months and these
kids come along and run this game at a frame rate like THAT with graphics
like THAT for $300?? And it has an Ethernet port for on-line racing this
summer? And a huge hard drive for custom stuff?"
Pfff ..
Forget it. I'll put it on my 61" Hi-Definition television with the component
output from the thing and the fiber optic hook-in to my 6.1 Dolby system
from it and sit in my La-Z-Boy next to the fire.
Honestly ... I had been *** for 10 years until this wave of systems and
said "Alright ...that's enough of this $399 for a new video card or $300 for
an entire system" bullshit.
I gave it up and I'm just not pouring money down a pit everytime another
Nascar game comes out.
In the end, it just ends up being stupid. I mean take an honest look at it
and you'll eventually reach a logical conclusion, whether it's this year or
next or the next but it'll hit you someday.
Go ahead and pound me, I don't care. But someday, you'll eventually say
"Well that was another $1200" and then be at some Wal-Mart and*** your
head like a dog and it'll hit you like a new emotion.
do you mean to say ALL gainward GF3Ti200 is
a golden sample ???
as far as I know the box would say
" GOLDEN SAMPLE" if you missed that
