Wow how did you guess? I drive GPL purely for status and to brag. When
I go out and hang in the bars, all the other guys have lame pickup
lines, but me,, haha I have GPL ,, something like "hey baby whats your
name, oh and by the way my best lap at Nurnburgring is 7:35, so can I
get your number?
sounds to me like your just getting frustrated at how difficult GPL
can be but there in lies its beauty...
Have you ever seen a group of people so passionate about a 3 year old
game ? More here then just show off or s*** :-)
No other sim gets your *** pumping or your adrenaline flowing like
GPL, sometimes its hard to believe its just a sim..
>> I've got this "game" GPL for quite a while now
>Well, that might be the source of your problems...
>> patched it to newest

>And no other patches? No GPLEA, no soundpack, no extra tracks?

>I guess not on the above.
>> It is ugly (compared to todays games) has a terrible sound, and

>Definitely not on the above then; and even with the stock sounds, I'd never,

>And likewise, I'd never call a Lotus 49 or Brabham BT24 'funny to

>of art on the face of this earth. I have to wonder about what someone
>considers 'fun to drive' if one of those isn't...let me guess, a Civic
>again? 'Cause, you know, getting sideways is never ever ever any fun, so
>use a front-wheel-drive and take that possibility right out...
>> My guess is, that it is just to show

>If the game were really as bad as you say, that'd mean nothing.
>The support for Force Feedback is lousy
>> unless you spend hours and hours to tweak it to your wheel. That is

>Your point being? It was added, after all, along with Direct3D, not out of

>> I'm NOT surprised there has never been a GPL2.
>I'm not surprised a single soul has yet to agree with you.
