Yep, been there done that!  This is exactly what the f12k wanna be
supporters were saying when the f12k warez ***was flooding r.a.s.

Guess what.... the released version wasn't any better.....

You get what you get, not what you want (though I do think some folks
are capable of deluding themselves).

oh yes, the blessed saint crammond ***again...  I know for a fact that
Crammond had plenty of support and resources available to him (and this
is from information I had 2 years ago).  But Crammond basically wanted
to do "his" thing (which he is entitled to).  Face it, the emperor has
no clothes....  But then again he may not look that bad ***, I am just
tired of people going on and on about his new regalia that simply
doesn't exist.

And I am sure that Crammond is enough of a man to admit
that this product you waited years for is what he wanted to give you
(not something Hasbro crammed down his throat).  As a matter of fact, I
would hazard to guess that will get some of the stuff that it is in GP3
because of Hasbro's input...

% I am assuming that hasbro/microprose did not give crammond
% enough resources (be it people or money or time) to do much
% more than what he did. I don't see this as crammond's fault. I
% blame the bean counters at hasbro and/or the market in general.
% But the current market is reeling from a host of canceled games
% and totally ***games that never sold well. Little do the bean
% counters realize that more resources for crammond to do a better
% game would yield *MUCH* higher sales. But if the huge presales
% numbers are true, then they will at least brake even...
