A question about N2 head to head racing

by Jo » Sat, 18 Jan 1997 04:00:00

A friend and I are racing N2 via modems and I've discovered something that
is weird.  When we connect and go to a track, I'm no longer in the car I
usually race in; my buddy is!  I can't figure it out, why does it put him
in my car?!?  If anyone has the answer to this one, I would sure
appreciate it.  Thanks.

The dialup machine must have the two cars reversed, i.e. your buddy's car
should be first in the list, and yours should be second. Also, you need to
put your name on your buddy's car or you'll both be driving under his name.
I know, it's pretty brain-dead, but that's how it works...
