Help Setting Up N2 Head to Head

Hi gang, maybe someone here can help me. I was asked to set up N2 for a
party tomorrow night. They want to run head to head with 2 computers. The
manual mentions using a null modem cable, and frankly, I don't have a clue
what that is. Is there a site out there that will explain how to do this or
can anyone provide a quick how-to?
