Good stuff.  It's X-Box, but I find it a lot of fun none the less.  If you've
got an X-Box I highly recommend it, especially at $19.99.

Indeed.  How dare someone comment on something non-PC in an open platform
newsgroup... ;-)

I never said it was politically correct;) If you come across real driving
sims on a console, be sure to let me know.

Real Driving Sims, that'll be Toca Race Driver 2 then "the ultimate racing
simulator" with no qualifying and race distances from 3-6 laps.

Andi.

It's more realistic than anything else I've played on the X-Box, and I'd
consider it a very good game if it were on the PC where I could use my
steering wheel.  Dozens of tire choices depending on the surface, adjustable
springs, roll bars, ride height, gearing and steering ratio, variable weather
conditions between stages, a fixed amount of time to repair damage, back-to-
back stages where you CAN'T fix damage, there is ALWAYS damage of some sort
(normal or heavy) and an unlockable option to have "realistic" damage, which
ought to be pretty difficult considering the amount of damage I sustain using
"normal" damage.

Find someone with an X-Box and give it a try before you condemn it as fluff.

fluff.

Here we go..
I never condemned it. I never called it fluff.
I have the PC demo and it's great.
I can't wait for the complete game.
And if I was looking for a  X-Box game I would not be browsing this
newsgroup.

The  End !

I wouldn't either and I realize this is a 99% PC newsgroup.  I was simply
posting an opinion on an X-Box game that I thought many PC sim users would
like if they also had an X-Box.  No harm no foul.

Funny, since you're not browsing for an X-Box game, how would you know where
the best place to go would be.  You'd know, if you were looking, that X-Box
forums are sometimes cluttered with kids who post nonsense.

This might be the best place to go to.

Considering that CM4 will also be released for the PC and will likely be
very similar to the X-Box version, I would consider this group to be an
appropriate place to post.

I mean, what's the big deal?
