SCGT - Cube Error!

by SlipStrea » Sun, 12 Mar 2000 04:00:00

Anybody ever get a "CUBE error!" in SCGT?

Running GeForce with full d3d install of SCGT. I try to set it to 10x7
resolution, but when I go to Chatum Track it begins the loading progress
then drops out to windows with the following error:

"CUBE Error!
Error locating anim map file ...Sports Car GT\CHTA\MAPS\FLGA00.BMP"

Other resolutions run fine. Odd thing is that it list the correct path but
there is no CHTA directory to be found. I could not find any such file on my
system or the cd itself....in fact, I couldn't even find a single bmp file
on there.

Anyone know how to releive this issue because I would really like to run
SCGT now that I have a new GeForce and wheel. I have no extras installed
other than the official patch and the 2.0 damage patch. However, I was
getting this error before installing either of the patches.

Thanks in Advance

Ivan

I used to get the "cube error" from time to time myself In SCGT.
Especially when loadng the Chatham track. I eventually stopped getting
them, but I have no idea why. (sorry no help there)

Oh well, at least your not alone :)

Get it once in a while, too!
