GPL Track Editing: Is this possible yet? (Mosport request..it's so bland!)

My favourite track, Mosport is rather disappointing graphically. It is
BLAND -- apart from the pit-straight there are very few spectators. I know
for a fact that at the 1967 GP the crowds were INSANE-- the place was
rammed! Instead the GPL Mosport is reminiscent of Mosport on a mid 1990's
"regional" weekend when only local drivers, marshals, their families &
friends,  and a few photographers are at the track. Pretty pathetic.

So what i want to know is:
    - Is it possible to ADD trackside objects yet to the 3DO file/s?? I know
they've been able to edit them since pretty much day one, but what i want to
see is lots of CROWDS, TENTS, and CARS parked all over the hillsides of
Mosport, like it was in real-life for the 1967 GP. Ok... maybe I'm being a
little too-optimistic-- but how about creating some thick crowds to put
along both sides of the track between turns 1 & 2, and on the left at 3, on
the right at 4, and on the left at 5 (top of the hill).. left at the end of
the backstraight, and finally on the right at 8 (before the bridge)?

Mosport is such a terrific track to drive in real-life & in GPL. I actually
initially became interested in GPL based on its inclusion of Mosport. It's
kinda depressing to play it though in GPL because it reminds me of what the
track has become(hopefully make that "had become", as things are looking to
be on the upswing once more -- www.mosport.com).

Any track-editing guru's out there care to make a Mosport fan's GPL dream
come true?
A few more crowds, a couple of tents, and a few cars (if possible)....
How about it?

Thanks in advance!! (wishful thinking?)

GPL Track Editing: Is this possible yet? (Mosport request..it's so bland!)

Weeeeeell, I toyed with adding objects to the existing tracks some time
ago, but because of the way Papyrus have done it I ended up with objects
all over the place (silverstone was a mess!).  Instead I went for making
new tracks from scratch, thus having total control over the positioning
of the objects.  There's still loads of problems, but not nearly as many
as there were...

There's also a problem of redistributing the track if you add objects to
it, because all objects are referenced in mosport.3do.  Sending whole
tracks around the net won't go down too well in Sierra-land...

Cheers ( & sorry!),
Phil
