I don't think so, it would be great, I hope the capability is there some
day, as this is an excellent track. I would love to see a copy of the
old Nurburgring, the Avus in Germany, The old  banked Monza, Sebring,
Mosport etc. I really think this sort of theing could extend the life
of  games such as the three you mentioned.

I agree Shawn. I think we sometimes forget that some of the most awesome
race tracks in the world are the older ones, Le Mans (the LONG course),
Monza (original layout), Watkins Glen (the long course), Sebring. Wow, my
mouth is watering thinking about those tracks. But maybe someday we'll be
able to see them or maybe I'll learn how to make them myself.

ANYBODY HAVE A MPEG OR AVI OF LE MANS FROM 1950-1960?

Thanks & Good Racing

Don't have an MPEG or AVI of LeMans (although I *do* have line drawing
maps of every variation of the Sarthe Circuit used from 1927 on), but I
found a great website, apparently put up by some German BMW Club, that
has a complete map of the Nrburgring-Nordschliefe (which is *most* of
the old track, with the pit complex bypassed) -- you can click on
individual sections and it shows the best line through each corner --
very cool. It's at:

Can we add the 'real' Silverstone (161mph record); Brands Hatch;
Hockenheim without chicanes (that far corner must be incredible); Michigan
or Laguna Seca for GP2 (just to see what happens)?  Definitely the old
Nurburgring, though...  Now, how many laps does it take you to learn a
circuit?  And how long would that take at the 'Ring?

Someone has already done Laguna.  It's buggy, but it's
at www.gp2.com
