Le Mans 24 - cannot load tracks...?

by Arto Wik » Mon, 28 Feb 2000 04:00:00

Well, I am basically a GPL person..., but anyhow I happened to buy the
Le Mans 24 Hours by Infogrames/Eutechnyx. The game seems to install well,
I can set the options etc. But when I try to start a race or practising,
it goes back to Windows, just in the point when I should get into the
track! I have PII350, Voodoo2 8MB, I use DX7.0a.

Any advice from our clever ras-community?
(Is DX7.0a perhaps too new, they do not mention that in the box, and
actually they do have the (horrible?) 7.0 in the CD, too. Luckily it
did not extract automathically...)

Runs OK with DX7.0a for me.

LeMans needs the latest video drivers to run.

If you've got more than one video card, try pressing CTRL+F9 to switch
drivers. Worked for me.

David, I tried that, but it only made the screen all black!
Francois, do you mean something for Voodoo 2? What is the working
release number? Where to get that?
