NL and N3 - Track Cross Usage?

Has anyone tried putting the NL tracks in N3 and vice versa? Do they work,
and how do they look?

I've been running N3 with tracks from N99, ICR2, and who knows where. I now
use the tracks with the TPTCC99 mods in N3 and the AI seems not to have any
problems. I'd sure love to add Riverside.

I installed Riverside in N3 but the car color palettes must be
different.....i.e. what should be black is now yellow, everything else looks
normal.

The pallette is out of whack when interchanging the tracks.  The tracks
basically look good, but the cars are really bad.  I've converted Riverside
for use in N3, and IMS, IRP, and Myrtle Beach for use in NL.  I've also
converted Hickory for use in NL (sans the flagman, haven't found a work
around for this) and Bowman-Gray for use in NR99.  I sent the patches to Jan
at The Pits.  If he thinks they're worthy, perhaps he'll make them
available.  I did these for myself, but if there's an interest perhaps I'll
do some of the others.  Removing the groove from the NL/N3 tracks is perhaps
the most time consuming tasks, especially on the long circuits such as IMS
and Riverside.
