Grand Prix 2 - Artificial Intelligence

When I crashed in GP2 recently, I decided to continue watching the race.
WOW!!!!! I've got a Grand Prix to watch any time I want! With the
correct performance values entered it's ***y exciting! Awesome!

If only the fps would enable real time stuff. Oh well, here's to GP3!

Of course, you could buy F1RS and have better AI, weather, and...
watch a Grand Prix in 3Dfx glory (beauty and fps)!

I'll second that.  I have watched races in both.  F1RS is better than watching
the real race!  (though there's more passing in GP2 than F1RS and more in F1RS
than real...)

Call me crazy ...

I thought it'd be a great concept to put positional sensors around the real
race tracks and on the cars so that the moment by moment positions of all
the cars could be digitised. This could then be fed over the net and
received by people with suitable racing simulators. Then we could race
against the real word F1 drivers in real time on our own computer sims.
Contact between us and real cars would need to be fudged of course, kind of
like the F1RS ghost cars. Or if you prefer, you could just watch the
simulated race on your computer from any car's position or camera angle you
prefer. Whatever. This will only work of course when the web is about 100
times faster than it is today - which is coming if I'm to believe what I
read.

Until then - Gp2 rules OK ! ( Just kidding - well sort of :-)

I think that F1RS is better than GP2 but we must remember that the
GP2 is older and it is a programation challenger for this time (Don?t
exists 3D Accel. Cards)
