Artificial Intelligence in GP2???????

I have to admitt: I bought a computer to play Grand Prix 2.
When the game GP2 was released, and even in the previews, some magazines
were talking about the superb artificial intelligence in GP2. However, so
far the makers of all the fantastic utilities you can find on Pieter's
Grand Prix 2 homepage (GP2editor 1.12b is my favorite) only found two
parameters to define the performance of the computer cars: horse power and
grip. Is this really all there is or are the other parameters still to be
discovered? Even in ICR2 one can change the aggression of the computer
cars!
Somehow, despite the superb realism and beautiful graphics, I still think
Geoff should have done better.
Also because of the system requirements, if you want to enjoy all graphics.
It also looks like we'll have to depend on others to eventually get a 3D
patch, or even an MMX upgrade.
Thanks to all you out there who created the editors, carsets, ...keep
going!!

Has anyone out there some information or views about this artificial
intelligence??

Artificial Intelligence in GP2???????

<snip>

Each of the CCs has its own "personality". Alesi and Schumacher for
instance are much more aggressive in overtaking or defending their lines
than, say, Hill.

If you are using a car set which has swapped about the drivers you
probably won't notice this so much because you will end up with, say,
Berger acting like a maniac & Schuy like an old hand. It's not what you
expect so you might discount it.

AFAIK no one has managed to actually hack the personality data yet :(

Cheers,
Richard
