is CPR any good with a wheel/pedals???

ive played Cart precicion racing with a joystick, and i have to say i didnt
really enjoy it that much (the 3d view is awfull, and i judging the phys
with my joystick is nigh on impossible).

CPR hasnt been on my hd for a while now, and since i bought that game ive
purchased an F1Sim racing wheel and pedals setup for my pc, and all of my
time has been devoted to GPL and GP2 (which still feels great).  Now my CPR
disc is scratched and wont reinstall, so i need to know whether its worth
going to the trouble of getting a replacement?  Is CART Precision Racing any
good/ enjoyable with a wheel and pedals setup???

pez who has made the cpr disc worse by trying to smooth out the scratch only
to make it worse, alot worse...doh

Seriously ?

For the sake of your health, just don't waste your time getting a
replacement disk.  "okay", there is still some tracks being done on the
Internet (which is the only attraction for continuing to race it), but you
will find all of them for GP2 also, which is superior from a sim POV imho.
It was acceptable but disappointing for it's time, but now it has aged very
badly.  Some titles like Icr2 and Gp2 have aged very well.  And since you
mention GPL, it's gonna just be an excuse to race more with it now ;-D

I couldn't get a decent config together to use my wheel (couldn't get away
from too twitchy) but you might want to try downloading the demo - you'll
get, IIRC, Miami and Laguna.

I find that CPR gives a great sensation of speed even on low-spec PCs. It's
great fun with my MS Force Feedback wheel - MUCH better than with joystick.
