I finally got  hold of an english demo version of F1RS by Ubisoft. The
latest PCGamer has a demo on the cdrom (runs straight off the cd too).
I run N2, GP2 and ICR2 under dos and my CH Pro Pedals and Thrustmaster
GP1 wheel work fine. Under win95 though I can't find which device you
choose to get the wheels and pedals working correctly together. Even
the analog paddals on the back of the wheel are not working in F1RS
even though I can calibrate them under win95. I had the french demo of
F1RS ages ago and I had the paddals working in that demo fine. So
anyone with the same set up as me please post what you do to get this
gear working properly together under win95. Thx.

If I remember correctly, the demo only supports one joystick (2 axis).
After one of the patches I can use my GP1 shifting with the pedals
and the CH Pedals on 2 axis (car mode).

Guess, you have to wait for the full version and patch it...

OK, thx. It still isn't available domestically though. :-(
But, which device do you choose under win95 anyway?

not sure if this is what your asking about, but if its how to
configure the controls in the F1RS demo, then see the message included
below, and posted ages ago here, Don't know about the CH / TM setup,
but if it works under the Win95 setup, then it "should" work with the
F1RS demo.  But then again, maybe not.

If I remember correctly, I defined it myself. 4 axis, 4 buttons, race
car controller checked.

The demo I have runs straight off the cdrom so it can't save any
config files to the HD. I just want to know what setup people use for
the win95 directx5 joystick applet. Nothing to do with F1RS. I can use
the GP1 set up for joystick in win95, but I don't see a calibration
routine for the CH Pro pedals. I guess I calibrate them as rudders
instead and then just change the switch on the CH Pro pedals. I
haven't tried that yet, but I may just have answered my own question.
