What video card to buy (overclocking a must)?

I'm going to buy a new system after the January price cuts on Intel
chips.  I'm leaning toward a Intel P233MMX CPU.  I definitely will be
overclocking my system to either 75 or 83 Mhz bus speed.

What video card should I buy?  I'm interested in a 2D/3D combo card,
overclocking as I mentioned, and auto racing (N2, NFS) as well as other
simulators (raptor 22).  Any recommendations?

For Nascar 2, there is only one real choice:  the Diamond Stealth II,
which is based on Rendition's V2100 chip.  You need a Rendition card
for 3D accelerated Nascar 2, and the Stealth II is currently the best
Rendition card.  The Hercules Thriller 3D, which is more expensive and
is based on Rendition's faster V2200 chip is another possiblity, but
it's not out yet.  I'm overclocking my Stealth II to 66 mhz (default
speed  is 40 mhz), and I'm running it on an 83 mhz bus, with no
problems.  Nascar 2 flies with this setup.

Not true anymore. Check Sierra's web site - a 3Dfx patch is imminent!
Woohoo!
