I can only run it in "software mode"

 Papyrus OpenGL Patch 2 (Beta)  get this patch for non 3dfx cards.
www.the-fastlane.com also a bunch more stuff to improve GPL- the best auto
sim ever.

I've done this and de game works now with openGL
Also did an upgrade to v1.2

Only problem i have now is that the mirrors look like a strobe light.
I cannot resolve this or turn it of,
any ideas ???

Welcome to Nvidia. Which version of the Nvidia drivers are you using ?
Some people are having luck getting the mirrors working by switching to the new
3.63 or 3.65 reference drivers. I got nothing but flashing screens and missing
text in menus with the new drivers and have gone back to the 2.08 reference
drivers which have been very stable for me, unfortunately I have never had
working mirrors. Rumor is that some new Nvidia drivers will be coming in the
spring that will allow anti-aliasing !! and will hopefully solve the mirror
problem. I'm not holding my breath.
