Building own wheel questions

by Peter Robil » Wed, 28 Oct 1998 04:00:00

Hi,
I'm trying to get parts together to make my own wheel and pedals a
la Lew's Wheels. To anybody who has built your own wheel, what kind of
bearings did you use, where did you get them, and how much did they cost?  I
found some automobile wheel bearings (A1) that might work, but they're $7
apiece.  If you can help or have answers please email me at

be checking it.
-Drew
P.S. I'm a GPL player.
