Controller Setting for Sidewinder 3D in GP2

by RWDE » Wed, 23 Sep 1998 04:00:00

I use the Sidewinder 3D for GP2, but have not been able to set the controller
properly. I have turned off steering help, but the settings I am using (i.e.
steering reduce with speed 70%, steering lock 26, reduce with speed 100%,
accelerator reduce with speed 15%, braking reduce with speed 0%, are very
twitchty in straightaways and unresponsive in corners. Has anyone found a good
controller set for this joystick? Thanks.

Hmmm, If your Sidewinder (Pro M$) j/stick is the same as the one I
have, forget it,
It's digital! You really need a good analog j/stick or prefrably a wheel
and pedals for GP2
Why not build your own.....

At least you have got the best race sim..... GP2 (at least until GPL
hits the streets)
Best of luck.
