F1RS Question

I just purchased F1RS and have a couple questions. How do I know which version
I have? Why does it take so long to switch between menus (or am I just
impatient)?

In general you usually find the version number by right clicking
on the executable. But in the case of F1RS it doesn't work.
I forget if the patch/version number is listed in the game menus.
I do know the file you want is the 1.09 version.

Correct. With my old 200mmx/80MB of ram the menus were very slow.
With my new 450/128MB ram the menus are almost instantanious.

You probably have the first version, games rarely come out with later
patches pre installed. At least ive never had it happen.

For me there were too many menus anyway, ram and prossesor power speeds up
the switching quite a bit though.

Try some of the F1RS sites..  and there is a little app that allows you to remove
the annoying sounds inthe menus... and speeds it up HEAPS..

Look out for it..
