F1RS Question

I had more than my share of trouble getting this sim to run, ( i won't bore
you with the details ) but it was certainly worth the effort as the graphics
are incredible and it really flies on my P233-Monster3d rig. I've played GP2
almost daily since it was released, and it's driving model is still the best
imo, but after racing at Monaco in F1RS, i can't see me spending much more
time with GP2.  The sensation of speed is fantastic and far better than GP2
imo, and while i personally find it a little easier and more forgiving than
GP2, the expert level CC's sure are fast and it's a real challenge getting
the correct speed at the apex to turn in on the right line and keep up....
Also hats off to Ubisoft for adding features like the driving school to make
it much easier for novices to get started. My 12 year old nephew ( who's
never driven a sim ) visited this morning, and after only an hour or so, he
was really going great. In fact he looked ready to cry when his mum told him
he had to stop.<g>.....Oh yeah, sorry, the question.<g>  I have d/l the 105
patch, but i'm still unable to exit the replay menu screen. The return
button is not working. Any suggestions ?

Cheers, Phil
p.s.  As per a previous post, changing the resolution in WIN95 does fix the
Load car-setup bug....Computers are weird !<g>

It is working on my system but it takes a *loooong* time before anything
happens. Just be patient.

I agree with Phil on this one..........I also play GP2 almost daily
since its arrival, no more, F1RS is fantastic, the inclusions of
little things like the sand and dirt pick-up on the wheels the moving
sun in your eyes etc make it somthing special.

Great work UbiSoft

The engine sound is still garbage, no matter how good the rest of the
sim is.
If only Ubi would do something about the sound it would go a long way
towards bringing this sim up to being ACE.
