I am trying to use movie studio to create movies of replays in N2003.
I can get an avi file but I don't have (and of course windows media
player can't download) the right codec... or so it would appear.  Does
someone have the required codec or is there a better way to make
avi/mpg of N2003 replays?

Is it DivX or Xvid perhaps?

It is supposed to be *raw* avi or uncompressed avi, but when I try to
view it in media player it try's to dl a codec which it can't find
(does ms media player EVER find a codec???).

AVI isnt that Apple Computer's format?  get the player-plugin from apple and
then (least on mine) WMP wil show it..  Least that is what I thought
happened.  Post you vid somewhere Ill try it :)
