Ditto.  I was gonna write my own app to do this for the D3D renderer but if
it already exists then that would be a pretty stupid move, eh?

Why don't you post it? Is it too big?

Because it's against newsgroup ettiquette to post *any* attachments.  People
still do it occasionally, though.  The preferred method is to make it available
for download somewhere, and post the 'link'.

Oops. I think I posted with an attachment once. Won't do it again.

Thanks very much, Ed.

Looking at the file info this might have been made by TIkuWarez and/or Timo
Kujala.  Does anyone know if this is the author?  Even with that info I
can't find a "proper" web site for this app.

Dale.

It appears to be completely worthless. First of all, it produces
corrupt avi under windows 2000. Not such a big deal, but creating
an avi is much faster with 2 cpus. On my 98 machine,
it produces a 405 MB avi file for a 9 second video.

No, that's not a typo: 405 MB for 9 seconds.

I've dropped the color depth, resolution, and capture delay, but the videos
are sill massive and jerky. Do you have something I don't? How are you
able to use it?

The title bar for the program says BETA 4.
