Anyone here using the Hercules Fortissimo III?  Any problems or weirdness to
report, or other things I should know about?

Using it on an old VIA board with Windows XP and no problems here.
Haven't tried it under *nix so I dunno how the linux or bsd driver
support is, but the latest XP drivers are nice, fixed some popping
issues that were in the initial drivers.

Replaced a SBLive with one to get rid of bad sound but introduced stuttering
in GPL.  The latest drivers sorted it out for some but not me.  I was
running XP Home and used a K7S5A SiS735 motherboard at the time.

Run a (far more expensive) Audigy 2 now without problems.

Had the stuttering problems mentioned by Mark in GPL, but sold the card
before they released the new drivers.

In the end, bought a new system (for other reasons) based on nforce2, which
utterly and completely rocks.
